This is 16th-century square named after the Barberini Palace and is situated where Via Sistina, Via del Tritone and Via della Quattro Fontana converge. There are a couple interesting fountains here including the Three Bees Fountain in the back of the square as well as the Triton Fountain, a Bernini masterpiece that is perhaps one of the most beautiful smaller statutes in the city. The Barberini Palace, just quick walk southeast of the square hosts the important National Gallery of Ancient Art. You will also find a few eateries and several hotels around Piazza Barberini as well.

Piazza Barberini gets its name from the powerful noble Barberini family, but before they transformed the square into an addition to their palace, this place was named “piazza Grimana” from Cardinal Grimani, who had a vineyard with a small house at the corner of this square, right where Via Veneto begins. Ground level of Piazza Barberini is nowadays the result of many earth fillings that took places along centuries to fill up what used to be a deep valley between the Pincio Hill and the Quirinale hill.

A very beautiful square in the ancient heart of the beautiful city of Rome, Fountain Triton, the son of the God of the Water, who is blowing on the Seashell to inform his father. Barberini Square has very important crossroads with beautiful streets such as Del Vento Street, Four Fountains Street, Del Tritone Street and Barberini Street. The nights of this square, with the sound of the fountain, are all recommended for those who like the tranquility.

This square was created in the 16th century but many of the surrounding buildings have subsequently been rebuilt. The current appellation was given in 1625 when it was named after the Palazzo Barberini, the substantial Baroque palace built in an elevated position on the south side of the piazza for the Barberini. At the centre of the piazza is the Fontana del Tritone or Triton Fountain (1642–3) sculpted by famous Italian artist Bernini.

Very delicious pizza and other coocked meals. Everything is made fresh and the menue changes daily. More than enough food options to choose from. Big portions on decent prices. The staff is friendly and speaks English. There is seating area on the first floor with A/C. The toilet is at the ground level and it's quite small, barely enough to turn around so don't bring any shopping bags and other bulky items with you in there.

Another beautiful monument in Rome, but I wouldn't go out of your way to see it. There a decent view, but nothing special that you won't find elsewhere. The statues and obelisk are cool, but if you're in a tight schedule, feel free to skip this. If you have time, check it out, but don't stress if you can't get here. Still, a very beautiful monument, but there are other things you should prioritize seeing.
