A great dinner experience of food and service!
We had:
Starters: Bruscettone with burrata and cherry tomatoes - wow, I could eat just that the whole evening 😋 Salmon sashimi - delicious
Mains: Ravioli with shrimps and lime - very special, one of the best I've had in a long time! Salmon filet - very soft and tasty Sea bream in potato crust - excellent
We also had a green salad as a side dish which was nice.
Dessert: We couldn't decide which one to choose, as we wanted both the cheese and the chocolate crumble.
We ordered the cheesecake and got the other one on the house! (Thanks! 🙏).
The cheese cake was nice, we thought it would have fresh berries but it was just a syrup.
The crumble on the other hand was PERFECT! Really amazing 😍
For drinks we had Aperol Spritz, which was also very good and at a good price (6eur).
Service-wise, both owners (one of them is Ricard, the "Ri" of "DaRi") were serving us and both had great English and we're super friendly and welcoming.
The only really "picky" feedback is to the owners: we thought the ambience of the place could be greatly improved by lowering the light level so it's not so bright, but rather more cosy and intimate. The decor can also be improved with very little effort but that a matter of personal taste ☺️
To conclude: We really enjoyed the evening and would love to...
Read moreLovely dinner! Its menu is composed by land and seafood dishes. Indeed it offers different kind of dishes including traditional roman pasta main courses. I think its cuisine phylosophy is combining best seasonal local products with some oriental influence . The presence of the special of the day is a plus . I had a tasty cacio e pepe dish and I tried the special of the day which was a pasta with pecorino cheese with mussels and pachino tomatoes. It was worth eating starter (including wonderful codfish fried balls) and dessert( delicious cheesecake with caramel and tiramisù). Congratulations to the staff, I had a...
Read moreI happened upon Trattoria Dari by chance and couldn't have been happier with it. The bruschetta was the best I've had in Italy and I also tried their carbonara rigatoni which was excellent. It seemed to be a popular place and the food I saw other people eating looked very good too. It's not a large restaurant but it feels cozy, not cramped. The man and the woman who were working there were friendly and accommodating. An exceptional experience. Try the...
