The appetizers were excellent and the taste is really good but the portions are really small. However, as a tourist, this place is absolutely a highway robbery. I would avoid ordering the lobster!
The manager convinced us to get the lobster saying it was great, and that the serving is 22€ for two people, as shown on the sign in the restaurant. The portion was ridiculously small. Both claws were there but very very little from the body and nothing from the tail. Then the check came as 44 €. When we asked the manager, he said the one person was 22 and that there were two lobster orders. We were a company of three and all of us heard what he initially said. Besides, even if there was an interpretation issue/ misunderstanding, there is no way the portion served would be two lobsters.
It’s not that I think 44€ is expensive for one lobster (maybe that’s the market price in Italy). However, this is absolutely misleading to list the price as 22 saying it’s for two people when the portion isn’t even enough for one person.
Update: it has been less than 3 hours since we have eaten there and the three of us got super sick! Avoid...
Read moreI recently had the pleasure of dining and was thoroughly impressed. The ambiance is cozy yet modern, with a touch of rustic charm that makes you feel right at home. The staff are incredibly attentive and friendly, adding to the overall welcoming atmosphere.
The menu features typical Roman cuisine but elevated to the highest quality. Each dish is prepared with precision and showcases the best of traditional flavors with a modern twist. I particularly enjoyed the tonnarelli with gorgonzola which was a perfect blend of authenticity and innovation. The presentation of each dish was also visually stunning, highlighting the chef's dedication to excellence.
The wine list is extensive, offering a great selection of local and international wines that pair perfectly with the menu. I highly recommend trying the [specific wine] with your meal; it was a wonderful complement to the flavors of the food.

Read moreI found myself in the neighbourhood for an unplanned visit to the car mechanic. I needed to occupy myself for a couple of hours. Fortunately for me, I came across Vent8posti. Although it was just about 20 minutes before the typical 3pm closing time, they welcomed me in. I’ll start by saying how friendly they are. And quickly follow that up by saying how delicious and perfectly prepared the food is. I started with a plate of fried anchovies before digging in to my main dish of gnocchi (potato dumplings) with fresh clams. I washed it down with a very nice glass of white wine (don’t remember which one, but recommended by the owner who was serving me that day). He and his wife didn’t rush me at all to finish - such a very pleasant slow-food dining experience. Should you be in the neighbourhood, I highly recommend trying this place out. I’m pretty sure you’ll go back for...
