Grill House — Restaurant in Salerno

Quite possibly the BEST bacon cheeseburger I have ever had the pleasure of eating. Cooked to a true medium, juicy, and delicious! The fry basket was labeled “skin on” but that could be an interpretation thing. They looked exactly as the picture (no skin or peel). They were excellent as well. My wife had the chicken burger, which was pretty large, and she loved it. The atmosphere was really cool, like being in a Jenga house. At the end of dinner, I sought out the chef, which I had never done before, to give him our thanks. Note- The cost per person for us was 22 euros, so on the low end of E20-30. After lots of good pizza, pasta and seafood, I was longing for a good steak and I found the Grill House. We order 3 different steak meals and they came perfect. The steaks came with the right point, served with salad and fries - exactly what I was looking for. We ordered off of Deliveroo at 2115, excited about our order for dinner! It is now 0015 and we have been waiting downstairs for an 75 minutes awaiting the delivery. We have called Deliveroo and spoken to someone who said it would be 20 minutes, well over 20 minutes ago. The excuse was that it is raining and therefore delivery as by car, not bike, therefore waits were longer. The original wait time was one hour. Not impressed, at all....
