Paninoteca Via Vai — Restaurant in Salerno

Came 2 days in a row and I had good service and food. On the third day I ordered the same thing and got something different. The owner said it was my fault And I have to pay for it and or take them home and wouldn’t make them for me. I advised it wasn’t my fault even after I ordered it 3 times with her. Owner was rude and said I have to pay for it and take them home. I said no I’ll pay for my drinks and leave. She insisted it was me who ordered incorrect. Finally she brings the meal and continues to scold me and say it was my fault and I should next time Be clear in my order. And this went on while my food was sitting there. She insisted that now she will have to throw away the food and that it’s my fault. Whilst my food was getting cold. Terrible service. I will never ever be back. Who goes to a place to be scolded at and say it is my fault rather than The waiter who took the incorrect order. Meals also came cold and hardly any filling. So guess the ones she said she will throw away was incorrect and she must have purposely given hardly filling or toasted because of their mishap Which she blamed me For. This never happens back home. Excellent panini with nice fresh ingredients. I had a dairy allergy and this was some of the best service I've ever had in Italy. Very attentive. Friendly staff and I saw the chef even clean the grill before cooking my ingredients (which many don't do). Really appreciate them. And the panini was excellent.
