Bar Le Torri - San Gimignano (si) — Restaurant in San Gimignano

TERRIBILE!!! Sono stata per mia sfortuna in questa specie di bar /ristorante , e dopo aver atteso 20 minuti ( il locale era vuoto) ho chiesto cortesemente e con gentilezza se potevo chiedere a qualcuno di poter portare via qualche dolce, il titolare dopo avermi guardata ha fatto un mezzo cenno con la testa che ho interpretato come un si, ho atteso altri 15 minuti e mi sono spostata al banco sperando di attirare l'attenzione di qualcuno ma niente da fare, a quel punto nel locale sono entrate altre persone che sono state servite , attendo ancora con pazienza (ero in vacanza e non volevo certo rovinarnela per una sciocchezza così) e si affaccia la proprietaria una tipa sciatta e maleducata che alla mia richiesta mi risponde a mezza bocca...a quel punto le ho detto, sempre con gentilezza, che visto che mi sembrava una richiesta per loro particolarmente difficile , rinunciavo ai dolci. Mentre salutavo e uscivo la "brutta sciattona" mi gridava dietro come una pazza dicendomi che non dovevo avere fretta e che ormai avrei dovuto acquistare i dolci (che ancora dovevano incartarmi) a quel punto sono uscita dicendole che era una gran maleducata e sono andata via. Se penso che tante piccole imprese che lavorano mettendo al centro il cliente fanno fatica a tenersi a galla , ed altre come questa si arricchiscono solo perché hanno la fortuna di trovarsi nel centro di un paese che vive di turismo ,mi sale parecchia rabbia. MALEDUCATI E CAFONI! SPERO CHE I NAS È LA FINANZA VENGANO A...

Staff behind bar was extremely condescending and rude. Asked for an espresso and asked if we could use wifi, they said no, it is for table service customers only, I then asked to get table service (knowing I will need to pay a bit more), they denied me of it even though there was NO ONE at their cafe. Unbelievable, will never come back again, I suggest future visitors to skip this place as it doesn't deserve any business if it likes to treat...

This bar is a place what I really can recommend. Located in the center of the town opposite to the cathedral and the big tower you can enjoy a glass of wine from the list of excellent local wines. I was even offered a tasting by the very friendly lady that served us. They also serve a good variety of snacks. A location not to miss when you are in San Gimignano.
