It was a sunny Sunday in August and all places were closing for the usual 3-6 daily siesta break. We thought we were going to hit the road back to our hotel hungry. When all hope was lost, walking back to the car, we were passing by this beautifully set wine bar overlooking the most picturesque views. Not very hopeful, we stepped in just to make sure they are also closing and much to our surprise (and joy) they ... offered us a table! Staff was very friendly and helpful. Menu short and simple. Still, reserved (after all it was a wine bar, not a restaurant) we ordered most of what was available as all four of us were starving. When the food arrived silence surrounded our table, confirmative glances and head shaking exchanged. Fresh, aromatic, authentic, full of flavour simple Italian food. Read moreUnfortunately, we stumbled upon these outdoor tables early morning. As there was no identifying information on the tables, we were uninformed that they belonged to a wine bar. A worker at the restaurant came out to those picnic tables and started screaming in such a way that my party had no idea he was even speaking to us. We had made a mistake and our mistake in no way should have been met with such anger, disgust, and overall verbally repulsive behavior. He even scared the dog that was with him. No reservation needed, so stop crying that you couldn't get your espresso at their best table when you refused to order anything else. It is really that simple. Their menu is extremely good. Had the tasting menu which included two glasses of wine, bread, cheese and meats, additionally, olives. Perfect. Perfect. Service was very friendly and quick.
