Hotel Bel Soggiorno — Hotel in San Gimignano

I’m si happy to write a glowing review if a Joel and restaurant in Italy! Most restaurants have not lived up to their reviews but this one was the best. The restos not part of the hotel si book it and book it early and often! The countryside views from the generous frontbterra e set the Tuscan mood and augment the quiet simple interior design. The service is informed, professional, kind and attentive. The food is everything you would expect in Beverly Hills or Paris and will live to find in the deep Italian countryside. We had the carpaccio de carne, the sucking pig snd the grilled lamb. The ice cube lemon sorbet for desert. THE HOTEL arranged for secure interior nearby parking. This hotel has the perfect location as cars are not allowed within the walls of San G. The hotel has a dedicated, locked garage 150 meters from the hotel which was extremely convenient. It was insanely crowded when we visited so the public lots were 100% full. We booked a room with a Tuscany view which was beautiful. The room was clean and the bathroom was spacious. We had a king size bed which was great but I will say the bed was extremely firm which my husband and I do not prefer. The buffet was convenient with plenty of options. It always was served in their restaurant space which has a panoramic view over Tuscany- so pretty! The service, food, location and views from this beautiful restaurant is nothing short of supurb! I came to San Gimignano 5 years ago for a wedding and had one of the best pappardelle ragu's I've ever had and have been craving to come back to re-live the experience and this restaurant didn't disappoint. The pappardelle ragu here is divine, incredible and will live in my stomach memory for a long time. The service is super friendly and attentive and what can you say about the views - magnificent!
