This is a difficult one… The evening started good and got worse by the minute.

The service chef brought on to the table and gave us the menu and we had a brief but friendly chat. We ordered the food we wanted and then waited. We had the Tacos and the Spaghetti.

The Tacos just didn‘t taste good. Thes tasted like nothing. The shell itself looked amazing but I felt like that was it. The garlic cream Spaghetti were drowned in oil, didn‘t have a taste of garlic and were cooked for way too long! This was definitely not al dente…

Second course we both had meat. Mine was pretty solid (I had the steak). The spare rips, again, had no taste, no sauce. Just boring. Same goes for the veggies, tasted like olive oil, because they were drowned in them.

Overall we were massively disappointed as we were looking forward to the food du to the good reviews the restaurant had. But unfortunately we didn‘t get this experience. We then wanted to pay, and waited a staggering 35 minutes, ordered the bill 3 times and the young lady walked passed us at least a couple of times without anything...

I have to give it 4 stars based on my expectation. The food was very good. Well thought out, seasonal flavours and well executed. It did not disappoint. Solid 9/10. I would describe most of the flavour profiles as subtile and refined. We had a nice local wine. Atmosphere was really good also. Only reason I have to say 4 stars is because being on Michelin guide, and the pedigree of the chef, better service is expected. A bit chaotic for the lone server before a group of 15 came. After she was totally swamped. We had minimal interaction with her the whole night. Chef did come out and apologize which was professional. Value-wise it’s relatively reasonable. High end but worth it absolutely. Overall, I would definitely go back and also recommend...

Not friendly at all with foreign tourists. Two different menu lists, just one available for us. Service also poor. It is true we did not make a reservation, but the restaurant it was empty. Barely 2 tables occupied. Still, they have offered us the table nearby door. When some italian tourists came in, also without reservation, the stuff has been very polite and welcoming. When you spend 100 eur for one main course and 1 bottle of wine you expect at least a little bit of kindness. The main feeling was they want just out money, and that was it.. the food was tasty, but still not...

The food was so good, and the place has a wonderful vibe. I stopped taking pictures as the courses came out because, well, there was wonderful wine, and who has time when it tastes so good! Francesca was our server and she couldn’t have been more gracious. The chef, Margherita came out from the kitchen regularly to say hello to the people she knew - which was most tables, as they were almost all locals on a Tuesday in mid-October. We got a polite smile and gave her a big one back😁 We can’t wait to go back!
