I'd call this place a "tourist trap". Food quality is quite low (the bacon is too chewy to swallow, the shrimp risotto has close to no shrimps in it, and the pesto is more yellowish than the typical green Ligurian pesto you'd find everywhere else). The service quality is also low (see pictures for olive oil and condiments "packets", and the powdered pepper instead of crushed pepper or pepper mill, leaving a pile of garbage behind from all the packets!). And to top it off, the waitress was amazingly impolite, literally throwing the plates and water on the table as she was already moving away from the table, and rolling her eyes if we called her for ordering more drinks or to ask for the bill. The high prices don't reflect the low quality and it's clear they target a tourist clientele and don't expect to attract returning customers. The high volume of Google ratings must be tailored, since it really does not...

The same male staff (wearing blue shirt) was impatient with me throughout—from taking my order to handling the payment.

Although the risotto on the menu listed shrimp, the dish actually contained very few—just tiny fragments.

In St. Margherita, at similar restaurants (at least five I visited), ice for soft drinks was either automatically provided or offered upon request, never with an extra charge. This time, however, I was charged €2, and when I asked what the item was for, with his voice up in the middle of the restaurant, the same staff impatiently said, “It’s ice.”

Note: I went there at around 9:15pm (while it closes at 11pm) I’m not sure if this was the reason for the impatience. For those who want to have a late dinner, you may take...

Locale di recente apertura nella via principale di Santa Margherita, location moderna che si distingue dalle altre e servizio attento. Abbiamo bevuto un ottimo calice di rosè. Il coperto comprende Pane, grissini e focaccia buoni! Dopo le ordinazioni ci e stata servita un’ottima Bruschetta pomodoro e mozzarella. Abbiamo avuto il piacere di provare: Gamberoni all'arancia con granella di mandorle tostate (16€) spettacolari! Linguine di Gragnano trafilate al bronzo al nero di seppia con tartare di gambero rosso (15€) Spaghetti di gragnano trafilato al bronzo con vongole veraci e pomodorino datterino giallo di Battipaglia (15,50€) Filetto di orata in crosta di patate con tempura di verdure (15€) Tagliata di polpo con crema di patate con pomodori secchi e polvere di olive nere (19€) Le porzioni sono generose, il pesce freschissimo e la qualità alta. Cena conclusa con due dolci spettacolari Torta caprese con gelato al fior di latte (6€) e Tiramisù al bicchiere (6€). Rapporto qualità prezzo eccezionale, sarà un piacere tornare a provare le altre proposte del menu, che è molto vasto. sono tornata perchè dovevo assolutamente farlo provare alla mia famiglia, tutti entusiasti! e ho provato dei piatti nuovi -Impepata di cozze 10€ -Spaghettone di gragnano alla carbonara di mare 15,50€ (una novità del menu invernale da urlo!) -Paccheri freschi con salsiccia friarielli napoletani e ricottina di bufala fresca 13€ -(un vero piatto napoletano!
