Walking around Sassari and feeling peckish we followed a promising sign for a restaurant that offered a ‘menu a pranzo’ or lunch menu. We were welcomed by friendly staff and given the menu in both Italian and English. The lunch menu consisted of a choice of 2 dishes out of 6, including water and coffee. We were served excellent food with pleasantly spicy notes. The Prosciutto crudo with grilled small onions and a blue cheese cream was savory with the tang of the blue cheese. The second dish a pasta with grilled squid and a pepperoncini sauce was just spicy enough to tickle the taste buds. My wife enjoyed roasted sausages on a bed of red cabbage and a grilled fish fillet. Having coffee in Italy is a no brainer, I have yet to get a bad cupper. If it weren’t for the fact that we’re staying on the other side of Sardegna, we’d be sure to come again.

Like a little cocoon in the middle of town. The ambiance was soothing, isolated from the rest of the city. The lunch menu at 20€ is an excellent compromise. We shared with a friend the courgette gratin, with a powerful pesto that enhanced the quality of the plate. The pasta was good, Al dente (of course in Italy) and tasty. The cuttle was good even if I don't usually appreciate it. The beef was tender and well salted. Maybe a little more coloration on cooking would have been appreciated. I recommend going there during lunch. It's been a pleasure.

Sono stata due volte in questo ristorante, una a pranzo e una a cena. Si trova in una piazzetta del centro storico piccola, molto carina e caratteristica. Il locale è nuovo e arredato con gusto, con spazio sia all'interno che all'esterno (dove è piacevolissimo mangiare in questo periodo). Il personale ti accoglie cordialmente ed è professionale, ho però trovato il servizio leggermente lento soprattutto per la presa degli ordini (alle volte nessun cameriere era presente all'esterno). Buonissimo il loro pane con l'agliata che vengono serviti di cortesia prima dei piatti principali. Il menù è abbastanza vario, con diverse proposte soprattutto di mare, ma anche di terra (consiglierei di variarlo un po' di più, entrambe le volte in cui ci sono stata era lo stesso). Prezzi buoni in relazione alla qualità del prodotto. A pranzo è possibile scegliere il menù pranzo e assaggiare più delle loro proposte. La carne davvero buonissima, cottura perfetta come richiesta. Anche i dolci molto buoni con proposte originali, solo il gelato al fieno non è stato di nostro gradimento per il gusto particolare e (a nostro avviso) non troppo adatto ad un dessert Menzione particolare all'attenzione verso il cliente posta al momento del conto, quanto è stato fatto notare che ci fosse un errore: lo scontrino è stato immediatamente rifatto e ci hanno voluto proporre un notevole sconto! We checked out this restaurant online prior to booking. We were not disappointed from the moment we walked up. The ambiance, the welcome, and the music playing immediately put us at ease. It was like the perfect spot. As this was our first time in Sassari we weren’t sure what to expect. We were so pleasantly surprised. The food that was recommended was so delicious. The pace of service was exceptional. Not too fast, and not too slow. All of the staff were attentive to our needs, and seemed to know when to approach, and when to wait.
