RUDE, RACIST Staffs alert!

I am very angry and disappointed with the appalling behaviour of the staff at this restaurant. On the 12th of September 2023, I visited this place with my parents, who are Korean, and my husband, who is a white Dutch national. My father was seated and enjoying a glass of white wine while my husband, my mother, and I went shopping. After we finished our shopping, we proceeded directly to this restaurant without waiting for any staff to guide us. It's worth noting that there was no queue, and there were no staff members in sight when we entered. Upon sitting down, we were completely ignored, so I went to the cashier to request a menu for my elderly parents. I politely asked a long-haired lady for a menu with a smile. In response, she said, "Yes, there is a menu, but... blah blah... this is a problem!" I asked her, "What is the problem?" She rolled her eyes, complained in Italian, and then directed me to another male waiter who supposedly spoke 'better' English. This waiter, a dark-skinned man, took it upon himself to 'educate' me on manners, as if I were a person lacking basic courtesy. His approach was utterly ridiculous, as he condescendingly explained, word by word, "Sorry, NORMALLY IF YOU WANT TO ENTER A RESTAURANT, YOU MUST WAIT UNTIL YOU ARE SEATED." I had already explained several times that we entered the restaurant promptly because my father was already seated inside. I felt humiliated by the ignorant and rude behaviour of these staff members who seemed determined to belittle me. The truth is, when Asian tourists visit Italy, it implies that they have a considerable amount of money and are highly educated, often more so than the local staff. The real issue here is the ignorance displayed by the Italian staff, and it would be advisable for them to receive training in good manners and customer service. I have dined at thousands of high-class Michelin-starred restaurants around the world, and I have never encountered staff who behaved in such a disgraceful manner. On 29-July-2023 my family and I had a reservation for a table for two at your restaurant In Designer Outlet Serravalle.

Upon arrival, we noticed a nearby table that would have been more convenient for us since we had our young daughter with us. We politely asked the staff if we could merge the two tables so that we could comfortably accommodate our family and ensure our daughter could sit and eat with us.

Regrettably, one of the waiters responded in an uncomfortable and disrespectful manner. She stated that we were only two people and had ordered for two, and her reply was that it was "SILLY" for us to request an additional table. In reality, we were three people and had placed an order for four.

We understand that miscommunication can happen, but we were taken aback by the lack of professionalism and courtesy in the waiter's response. As valued customers, we expect to be treated with respect and kindness, regardless of the situation.

We believe that every customer deserves a positive and enjoyable dining experience, and it was disheartening to encounter such behavior during our visit. We hope that you will address this matter promptly to ensure that no other customers face a similar uncomfortable situation.

We kindly request that you take appropriate measures to address this incident and provide necessary training to your staff to ensure that all customers are treated with respect and courtesy in the future.

We went to this place because we had been to a restaurant of the same chain in Dubai and really liked it. Here, everything was just terrible! First of all, the shrimp and avocado salad was disgusting – never order it. They put a very greasy packaged sauce on it, something like fatty mayonnaise. The pizza and pasta were ordinary, nothing special about them. The pizza dough was not tasty.

There was a line at the entrance, and we waited for a long time. Then we had to wait for the waitress. When she finally came, she said the kitchen wasn’t working and we could only order pizza. We ordered pizza since we were hungry and had already wasted so much time waiting. When the pizza arrived, another waitress asked if we wanted to order anything else. We asked if the kitchen was working, and she said yes. Then they brought us that awful salad with cheap packaged sauce instead of dressing and overcooked shrimp.

I recommend choosing any other place. There is no Italian cuisine here at all! You won’t enjoy yourself, and you won’t get a proper meal.

On top of that, the waitress dropped metal cutlery on my Tom Ford sunglasses and didn’t even apologize.
