We stayed in an AirBnB next door and visited the cafe every morning during our stay. We were always the only Americans in there and were traveling with twin 2 year olds, and the staff was always so kind and patient with us. Most of my group spoke zero Italian (I speak just a little) and they did their best to communicate with us in English. You don’t get the great views of other lakefront places, but it was a welcomed break from the highly touristed areas of Sirmione. Everyone else in there seemed to be regulars that the staff knew.

Ich hatte ein kleines Problem und brauchte Hilfe von Einheimischen – zum Glück führte mich mein Weg in diese Bar.

Miki und Bubi waren sofort hilfsbereit, ganz unkompliziert und herzlich. Und nicht nur das: Während ich auf eine Lösung wartete, wurde ich mit kalten Getränken und einer ordentlichen Portion Humor versorgt. Zum frühstücken für ein paar crossiant & einen leckeren Kaffee perfekt, Cappuccino 1,60. Abends für ein paar Getränke auch gut geeignet, Aperol 4,00 Euro. Bier 0,5 6 Euro. Chips und Nüsse gibt...
