Ristorante @ Hotel Aurora — Restaurant in Sirmione

I think that they tried to create a new name to a restaurant that already had poor reviews in order to get more people to come. It was a nice view, but that was it. Our meal was awful! Its been a while since i had a worse meal. In general, in this area if you have a car id recommend driving out into the country for better food.

Edit 24.6.24: Look at their nasty response. You really want to eat somewhere that responds like this? My advice to you: fire the chef! Your food is worse than an American Olive...

Prices are high, portions are small. That does not have to be a bad thing, but I want to place a wager my pasta was frozen, microwaved and thrown in the pan, it was cold inside and outside and parts of pasta were hard and not in an al dente way.

The scenery of the restaurant is not very good, with the ceiling almost hanging onto the floor in one place.

The sum just does not add up, high prices, poor quality of the dish and the accomodation looks...

The Restaurant has a nice atmosphere and outside you can sit direct to the lake. We ordered a primi, that was simply a joke. 22 Euro for a cold plate of tagliatelle with the portion of 3 spoons. We had to order a secondi afterwards because we were still hungry. The dish (salmon) was good, but again 24 Euro. All in all we paid 120 euro for nice atmosphere and unfriendly service.
