Small cozy restaurant. We went early (6:30pm) and the restaurant wasnโ€™t too busy. We were seated right away. Towards the end of our visit, there was people waiting at the door. We chose this restaurant because we wanted a change from all the pizza and pasta that we were eating, and because we love Thai food. Those working at the restaurant were kind and attentive. The food was ok. We eat a lot of Thai food, and found this one to be at the bottom of our list so my opinion may be bias. 1) vegetable spring rolls: delicious. The spring rolls were clearly made with fresh ingredients. 2) Tom yum: the broth was packed with flavour and fresh ingredients. The shrimp, however, was not fresh. I opted out from the shrimp. 3) pad thai: it all depends on how you like your pad thai, but I found this one to taste like a jar of peanut butter and would not recommend.

Iโ€™m from the U.K originally but my Girlfriend is Thai and we both now live in Koh Phangan in Thailand so we eat Thai food on a daily basis. I had the chicken pad Thai and I can honestly say this was the best pad Thai I have had and this includes in Thailand. It was cooked to perfection and so tasty with subtle and delicate flavours to it. My girlfriend was equally impressed with her food too. So much so that we are going back again tonight for a second visit because although Italian food is amazing we are missing traditional Thai food and this place is authentic and delicious as you are going to get here in Italy in my opinion and well worth a visit. Also the staff were so warm and welcoming and went above and beyond to ensure we had a great meal and evening out at the Orange Tree Restaurant. Thank you. Highly recommended. Dave

TITLE : just the place to go if you need a break from pasta and pizzas ๐Ÿ˜Š After having pizzas and pastas for days, I was very glad to have found this Thai restaurant located near my guesthouse. I had reservation if the cooks were Italians as the dishes may be tailored for local taste. ๐Ÿ˜… However, I was glad to see Thai ladies in the kitchen. This restaurant serves authentic Thai food and the owner (young lady) was very nice and friendly. The staff were nice too. We had: Seafood Tom Yum (ask for a wedge of lime to make your tom yum to fly into heaven - typical southeast Asian way of eating) Thai Green curry Two desserts - Croccante al Pistachio & Tartufo Pistachio (highly recommended! If you're a fan of pistachio nuts). I enjoyed my dinner and desert!

4.8 stars in reviews. Wow. First things firstโ€ฆdonโ€™t expect to eat the best Thai restaurant outside of Thailand. Itโ€™s not even close. We had quite a few dishes. So tried quite a lot. Their best dish was the fried rice, The other was good and tasty, but far from authentic, due mainly to lack of the correct spices(PS I donโ€™t mean spiciness, but in spices like galangang etc) Thatโ€™s why that Tom yam lacked the authentic taste. Worse dish was the Pad Thai. They used vinegar?!? It was quite off taste wise.

But on the otherhand we are in Italy. For Italyโ€ฆ.they deserve the 4.8 easily. We travelled with my parents who were travelling as part of a tour, after 7 days of Italian food, they crave rice and Asian food. For anyone who has travelled in italy before โ€ฆfinding good Asian food is extremely difficult. TBH I had my worse foodie experience in Rome when I ate a Chinese restaurant there. It was so badโ€ฆ.I cried inside, Esspecailly when you compare it with the Italian food.

Compared to that, this place was simply amazing. The main dishes came with white rice. Thatโ€™s the Italian partโ€ฆits quite difficult to share because with each dish w=you get white rice included.

For me if you craze decent Asian food while in a,alfi coast, Sorrento. This place is a safe refuge and you will be glad that you can eat here.IMO a must visits for any Asian who craves there portion of white rice.

Service was great and attentative.

We parked 300M away. In Sorrento parking...

The food at the Orange Tree tree was tasty. We shared spring rolls to start before ordering noodles and a curry. The spring rolls were particularly tasty. We were given complimentary prawn crackers which were a little greasy however did the job. The service had been good until we finished our meals where the restaurant became significantly busier. We asked for the bill and were told it would be brought shortly. In the meantime we were offered limoncello which we accepted which we assumed would be complimentary as is customary after a meal. After 10 minutes we asked for the bill again but were once again ignored. We understand the custom of relaxed dining being at a slower pace than you may find elsewhere in the world, however, the service throughout the earlier portion of our meal was not consistent in this approach. My boyfriend then decided to go up to the front desk to settle the bill this way instead. He was ignored by all staff for another 5 minutes resulting us waiting over 25 minutes to pay at the end. On receiving the bill we noted we had paid โ‚ฌ1.5 cover per person which was not advertised on the menu and โ‚ฌ3 for...

Ivan and the team fall nothing short when it comes to ensuring your experience here is 2nd to none. The menu isn't huge and I think that's the beauty - every bit of love goes into the meals here.

Everything here is cooked from fresh and you can definitely taste it. We opted for the Gyoza, Fried chicken and Spring rolls for starters... we like variety so we wanted to try a few things - the spring rolls were particularly tasty - chicken, vegetables and rice noodles inside served with sweet chilli sauce. And for mains - the Panang and the Pad Krapow. The mains were filling and they came with rice but the flavours were incredible - the meat was fresh and the flavours were just as you'd expect for Thai food .

The staff were excellent, they made sure at every course that everything was okay, they knew their stuff, right down to the cuisine and the beverages. This was quality service. We left with full bellies and smiles. Cannot...
