Agruminato Garden — Attraction in Sorrento

Agruminato Garden is one of those places that’s easy to miss—but absolutely worth finding. Tucked away off Corso Italia, this peaceful lemon orchard offers a rare and authentic slice of Sorrento. If you’re lucky enough to visit when the lemons are ripe, the fresh citrus aroma is unforgettable—truly the scent of Sorrento!

There are a few benches near the front where you can sit and take it all in, and if you wander toward the back, there’s even a quiet rose walk. It’s not a place to rush through—take your time and enjoy the calm.

Our late parents spent several glorious holidays in the Sorrento area...ok some years ago now. To say a personal farewell to Mum, sister and I visited in 2014. Lots of memories, tears and a celebration of her. Fast forward to 2025...and the opportunity to visit. The garden has changed....still a wonderful aroma, spicey and fragrant with lemon and orange. Lot of trees gone....but so so good. Need more labels on the individual trees, please. Plus a couple of benches. Don't recall the rose walk...but still so...

This is a very cute lemon garden that teaches you the vast history of lemons and oranges in Sorrento’s history. It is filled with hundreds of lemon and orange trees and roses that make the experience to walk though it pleasant and captivating. Throughout the walk there are boards in both Italian and English that describe their history.
