We were warmly greeted by a woman who wanted very much to accommodate our table request of being outside even though they were very busy and all the tables were taken. She gave us a nice table inside and said she would gladly move us when an outside table opened. Turned out we enjoyed the fun, engaging staff inside, so we chose not to move.

Our waitress Paola was friendly, funny and also helpful in suggesting dishes. We really enjoyed her interaction with us. Throughout the evening all the staff were having fun with each other and the guests, it was hard not to smile the whole evening! Of course they did this while still doing a great job of taking care of guests!

What really surprised us was the quality of the food! Good size portions, delicious taste and fair prices. We started with the potatoes with cheese and bacon. Yum!!! For main I had fresh made pasta with spicy sausage. The pasta was cooked perfect! Al dente! The flavor of the sauce was so delicious and not overdone. Truly one of my favorite pasta dishes since being in Italy for the past 5 months. My partner had the mixed meat dish. Again, the portion size was good and each piece of meat was cooked to perfection!

I also must mention the drinks. I did not know what to order, so the bartender, Ida, suggested a gin and basil type drink. WOW!!!! Honestly, my favorite gin drink ever! Ida is truly a master bartender! Thank you Ida! I must mention, she was also friendly, fun and engaging.

Because of the high reviews we tried this restaurant. From the beginning on it felt like the staff could not handle the amount of tables to serve. After waiting for quite a while, eventually even someone that came after us got helped first. The staff seemed not really working together, arguing if we got helped already and who should serve us. Later, one asked for if it was okay to put the tv louder or if the volume was okay, while a little later the tv was put louder by another waiter. The food was dissapointing. Now am I used good quality food on my trip in Italy, so maybe my expectations were high. And the prices were really good, but still even ptice quality ratio, the quality was really poorly. We ordered parmigana and chips with cheese as a starter and gnocci in tomatoesauce and marmiganaburger as main. The tomatoesauce was tasting watery and did not had good flavour. The parmigana in the burger and as starter tasted too gewy, like it was not fresh. The chips were tasteless. The overall experience was quite poorly. Unfortunately because the staff seemed working hard (just not in a way that seemed to work though) I think if you order a pizza or something fried you could have possibly quite an okay evening? It was maybe not...

Came here while staying in Sorrento for a week and found that this was one of the best places we ate at during our stay. The owner and staff were absolutely lovely, as was the owners' tiramisu. My family all agreed that the food was exceptional with all of us with 4 different meals. The only complaint we had was about the other guests. As it's popular, there can often be a reasonable wait to be seated, which, while we can sympathise that it's not always convenient, is what you would typically expect for a good restaurant. What we didn't appreciate was by the end of our meal while digesting food, finishing drinks and finishing a conversation, we were being berated by those in the queue with comments such as "are we done here? are you going now?" followed by this lovely woman's company saying "yeah, move!" repeatedly. Not quite what you'd appreciate after a lovely family meal. Once we were ready to leave, we walked out to said people cheering and clapping. It's disappointing to know that other guests who have come for a holiday can be so rude and entitled in such a calm and enjoyable environment.
