Station Bar — Restaurant in Syracuse

Sadly I am adding my own review with a bit of a heads up. The large outside shaded tables are a comfortable way to spend an hour while waiting for a train. But indeed, prices are about double than anywhere else and coffee is not great. That said, double means a cappuccino will be €2.50, same for a brioche or for a large bottle of water. So still ok if you need to wait for a train but definitely not the place to stop if you want a quick drink. Robo y estafa para turistas. Me cobraron 2,5 euros por un café cuando a los conocidos italianos estaban pagando menos. Cuando les pedí la lista de precios no me la quisieron enseñar a pesar de tener la obligación de hacerlo. También pusieron pegas para darme un recibo.

I think it is OK. You can notice they charge 30% for service. It is not a big difference with other restaurants where it is 2.5€ for a person, because a piece of pizza is 2€ here. No really delicious, but it is OK. Small beer 0.33L is for 2.5€. Small luggage for a day was 3€ and a big one for 5€.

If you are wating for a train, don't be aware of this...
