First of all, I must say that the service was excellent. Very polite staff and at the end of the service they offer you biscuits and limoncello for free. We had 2 pasta dishes. Pasta al salmone wasn't very good I have to say. I would expect more salmon and cream from it but it was too oily instead. Pasta con le sarde was a decent dish, the fennel was frozen but the taste was there. Fritto misto was not too bad, some of the fish were a bit cold, the calamari seemed to be fresh but I can't say the same for the prawns. Prices are very good compared with the others...

Huge respect to Gianni! We had to order food for takeaway and it was made within minutes, carefully packed and delicious. We took grilled vegetables, pasta with ragu and pasta with swordfish plus received local dolce for dessert. All fresh and well seasoned and the pasta with ragu was the best I ate anywhere. The trattoria was packed full with locals but Gianni and his family controlled everything and made sure everyone was pleased. Can't wait to come back and try...

Il locale è veramente piccolo e modesto, ma pulito ed ordinato e soprattutto è reso grandioso da Gianni e company, che ci hanno accolti, pur essendo sconosciuti, con vera e sincera affabilità. Prodotti veramente genuini e cucinati con assoluta maestria. Ottimo ed abbondantissimo il calice di vino bianco servitoci. Ci è stato anche gentilmente offerta una portata di alici impanate ed alla fine dei biscotti fatti in casa, le rose del deserto, gustosissime, e del limoncello. Al momento di pagare ci è stato anche fatto uno sconto simpatia, su di un conto onestissimo, con rapporto qualità prezzo impareggiabile. In questo modo siamo stati praticamente costretti a cercare di organizzare, quanto prima, una gita fuori porta a Siracusa con pranzo da Gianni. Trattoria consigliatissima, per la quale è conveniente prenotare. Ritornati il 22 giugno 2022: identica cordialità e capacità.
