Tucked away in the charming streets of Taormina, Sicily, is a small shop that is a true paradise for cannoli lovers . This quaint and unassuming place, often missed by the casual tourist, offers what might just be the best cannoli I've ever tasted.

From the moment you step into the shop, you're greeted with the sweet aroma of fresh pastries and the warm, welcoming smile of the owner, who is passionate about their craft. The shop's decor is simple yet inviting, with a display of various traditional Sicilian sweets that instantly catches your eye.

But the star of the show is undoubtedly their cannoli. Handcrafted with precision and care, each cannoli is a work of art. The shells, fried to a perfect golden-brown, offer a delightful crunch, contrasting beautifully with the creamy, rich, and not overly sweet ricotta filling. This heavenly combination melts in your mouth, leaving you wanting more.

What sets their cannoli apart is the freshness. The shells are filled on the spot, ensuring they maintain their crispness, and the ricotta filling is as fresh as it gets, with a smooth texture and just the right amount of sweetness. They also offer a variety of fillings, from the classic to more adventurous flavors, catering to all tastes.

The shop also prides itself on using the finest local ingredients, which is evident in every bite of their cannoli. It's not just about the taste but also about supporting local producers, which adds a layer of authenticity and love to their food.

Service-wise, the staff is friendly and eager to share their knowledge about Sicilian sweets, adding to the overall delightful experience. The prices are reasonable, especially given the quality of the offerings.

In conclusion, this is a must-visit for anyone with a sweet tooth traveling to Taormina. Their cannoli are not just desserts; they're an experience - one that encapsulates the essence of Sicilian pastry artistry. A hidden gem that truly lives up to...

If you’re in Taormina and you don’t stop at this cannoli shop, you’re seriously missing out on a bite of Sicilian paradise. Tucked along a charming cobblestone street, this place serves up the best cannoli I’ve ever had—hands down.

The moment you walk in, the aroma of fresh ricotta, pistachio, and crispy pastry hits you like a warm hug. I ordered the classic ricotta-filled cannolo with a dusting of powdered sugar and crushed pistachios on the ends—and it was perfection. The shell? Golden, crisp, and shatteringly delicate. The filling? Light, creamy, subtly sweet, and impossibly fresh (I swear the ricotta had to have been made that morning).

Even better, they fill the cannoli to order, so everything is peak fresh. I also tried their chocolate-dipped shell version with orange zest—mind-blowingly good. The staff were warm, welcoming, and clearly proud of their craft.

Do yourself a favor: skip dessert at dinner and come here instead. Or come twice. Maybe three times. Taormina has no shortage of beautiful views, but this little shop serves something even more...

Absolute favorite place to eat cannoli in Taormina. Stayed for a week very close to this shop and I have tried a lot of pastry and cannoli shops in town while I was there.

I have to say my favorite were Pistachio & Gianduja, but the Ricotta (simple, with fruit or with coconut) is fabulous! The shells were not too hard and the pistachio or chocolate shells pair well with some flavours.

The main thing is the sweetness - not too much, not too little, just a perfectly balanced dessert, that made me go back multiple times after eating and strolling around. They will be open until late so perfect for a late night sweet treat. The size is also great, as I have bought some other cannoli which were huge and I could not finish or just way too sugary, which I don’t mind because I do like very sweet desserts, but all fillings here were just the right amount and just sweet enough.

If I ever come back I would...
