The guanciale(pig cheek) braised with red wine was incredibly delicious. The texture was cooked magically like beef. Ask about their special menu, they’re usually great. Their chef/owner spent some time in Tuscany region.

Need to make reservations online. Chill vibe inside. Dog-friendly. Very attentive service, the lady greeted us with sincere smiles, we really appreciate her service. They don’t speak English as the Rome restaurants but can still communicate well.

However, if you’re a foreigner the owner/other staff will discuss your nationality and behavior besides you cause they assume you can’t understand Italians.

We ordered two appetizers, 1 pasta, and 1 steak. Apetizers were very simple but okay - two balls of crochette and rice cheese for 3€ each, the pasta with ground meat sauce was tasteless - like really not much taste to it 😓 the portion was also tiny. The steak was very small, served with a little bit of arugula - this part was kind of too salty and expensive because it was very small (16€). Locale piccolo ma accogliente. Il personale è molto cordiale e attento nel consigliere e raccogliere il parere dopo la degustazione. E il nostro è stato positivo ad ogni pietanza. Abbiamo iniziato con sfiziose polpette di melanzane e un buonissimo sformato di patate, speck e formaggio. Ottimo i Tonnarelli al ragù di chianina, ma grande nota di merito al Peposo del Brunelleschi. Uno stracotto di chianina che si scioglieva in bocca. Buoni anche i dolci. Noi abbiamo provato un tiramisù fatto con i cantucci e una crema di Nutella con mandorle. Un menú che porta a Tivoli la cucina toscana. Che dire, una prima esperienza assolutamente promossa.
