A bit off the beaten path but worth the effort in finding it....follow the well-marked signs past the 'touristy clutter' of shops. If in doubt, ask for this trattoria by name.
It's external appearance belies the large and secluded inner, open patio [up a flight of stairs] which seats a large clientele. The welcome was personal, warm and genuine, the staff friendly and helpful and the food excellent and at a reasonable price. The service charge was €1.50 per person. so for 4 we paid €6. There was no bread or good service. I am unsure what we paid for.
