A bit off the beaten path but worth the effort in finding it....follow the well-marked signs past the 'touristy clutter' of shops. If in doubt, ask for this trattoria by name.

It's external appearance belies the large and secluded inner, open patio [up a flight of stairs] which seats a large clientele. The welcome was personal, warm and genuine, the staff friendly and helpful and the food excellent and at a reasonable price. The bruschette and pizze are good [try the Pizza Mozarella, Cicoria & Salciccia].

Do not eat here. The food was absolutely rubbish. We had the risotto which tasted like hospital food. The grains are uncooked and completely inedible. The service charge was €1.50 per person. so for 4 we paid €6. There was no bread or good service. I am unsure what we paid for. When we complained the angry waitress pointed at our napkin and knife and fork. So if you eat here please take your own tissue and eat with your hands. She gave us so much attitude while paying and then we we left she slammed the door...

Walked in at 8:30pm. We were only ones in the restaurant. Sat down and we’re asked for green card, only positive thing to add. Ordered red wine, they were out. Ordered 2 house white wines and they delivered sparkling wine, barely drinkable. Ordered a margarita pizza. It arrived 2-3 minutes later. It was hot but with no basil. So basically a cheese pizza.
