We came here on our last night in Tivoli and I really wish we'd found it sooner! By far our favourite place to eat in a town which has many great options. As well as classics, they serve some really interesting homely dishes. We had polenta alla amatriciana, aubergine parmigiana and a fennel and orange salad. Plus the Cubo di Tonno which didn't photograph well - but was delicious and a truly memorable dish. Everything was super fresh and delicious. How does a tiny, 4-table restaurant have almost 500 reviews? Because it's really good! Give yourself some time for this though, it's a one-woman show (at least at lunch when we were there). We'd just visited Hadrian's Villa and wanted to relax and we lucked on La Forma. A home-cooked meal. The primi portions were huge and so good. The beef filet was also huge and delicious. The orange and fennel salad was tasty. The secondi were smaller but at this point we were so full it didn't matter. We have been traveling through several countries, including several regions in Italy. But this small restaurant, recently opened at Tivoli, becomes our favorite place. A cozy site attended by its owners. 100% homemade food, combining typical Italian cuisine with the professionalism and experience of Anna Rita around the world. It certainly transports you inside mom's kitchen. Amazing antipasto, and the night star Crepes with lemon cream.
