DON'T BOTHER STAYING HERE... The hotel let me down on two occasions. The first being during our late evening check-in when we were given the keys to a room that already had guests inside. It made us feel uncomfortable and extremely unsafe had the guests assume we were intruders posing a threat to their family and exposure into their private lives. We were exhausted after a long trip from Paris and carrying our luggage up the steep ramp and up the lengthy stairs. We tried several other doors using the same door code with no luck. I attempted several times to contact the hotel via the app with no response. I made numerous efforts to contact Booking.Com with their process redirected me back to the hotel agent messaging service that was not responding. We were exhausted, stressed, and with rain predicted we decided to seek alternative options. My wife went by herself on a dark road to find someone that has mobile coverage to ring the hotel agent while I investigated nearby accommodation with all local venues booked out. Eventually after about 35-40min the hotel contacted me and explained he made an error in rooms with a new code given. He apologized yet took no remorse for what we went through and became defensive when I mentioned compensating me for this major mishap. The second incident occurred the next day late afternoon after a long day in the cold rain coming home to unwind and prepare for dinner. There was no hot water. I messaged the hotel and he mentioned for me to wait 30minutes as he restarted the boiler and again apologized. We both missed out on showers that evening and went to bed looking forward to our checkout the next day. The issue I have with booking.com is they did not add any value in my situation when it matters. They were not there to support or guide me at all. The toilet in room 2 (with white and dark tiles) has no privacy. There is no door and walls only a curtain. This was unimaginable. Specially that the photos on booking.com did not reflect this fact. The door of the room cannot be locked from outside. There is a second door which can be locked. But the host asked us not to lock it because the staff need to go to a storage area throughout the day. As you might imagine we didn't feel safe leaving our belongings while not there.
Thankfully the host offered after a day of discussions to refund the remainder of our stay. We took it and booked another hotel even though it was more expensive because everything was booked out for the same dates in the middle of the...

They have a menu both in Italian and English, waitresses can also speak English verry well. They're verry compliant with the dishes (I took pasta with pesto while removing potatoes and beans, there where no problem) and overall verry nice.
The pastas are verry tasty, the food was fresh and homemade. The desert were not as great as the pastas but were still homemade and verry good.
We paid 42 for 2 people, which seems verry decent to me, given the quality of the food.
