Ginger Tea & Cakes — Restaurant in Trieste

Normally I never write bad reviews but today’s encounter at this place had me at lost for words…I know I shouldn’t have brought in a cannolo from another shop, but I still ordered and paid for my coffee without issue. Instead of addressing it calmly, the owner/worker there(not sure?)chose to gossip about me in Italian and later confronted me with passive-aggressive and verbally hostile remarks. It felt unprofessional and unnecessary, especially from someone representing the business. Great place if you want to buy some delicious and tasty tea which will ensure a great mood if you drink it, the place is amazing they even give free cupcakes if you buy 10 you will get 1 for free which is pretty amazing considering the fact that this is a Tee House and not a Cupcake bakery so that obviously receives bonus points from me, and of course the tea is amazing with rich flavors and an amazing smell, which is pretty amazing, i suggest...

Ginger’s cake was amazing. I can’t speak Italian, but when I ordered my boyfriend’s birthday cake by Whatsapp, they responded fast and precisely. And they let me pay with PayPal. Due to quarantine, I couldn't go outside at all, but they offered a delivery service for me. Also it was really tasty, I’ve never tried that good chocolate cake before.
