Update April 2023 Everything is still good. The Pappardelle alla Bolognese was actually one of the best I've ever had. Just one thing to add, be careful when you are booking a table with a foreign name. I understand that hearing or understanding various names could be difficult, especially on the phone. But this is just for convenience, for everyone, so we could easily meet halfway to say, make up a name that both sides would agree on. Because if the person who needs to record your reservation doesn't understand your name and writes a few random letters down that doesn't even resemble your name... they might think that you are giving false information about booking a table. I hope the restaurant manager is happy that the "the only real Random Name who booked a 2-person table for 19:45" didn't turn up in the end. Phew, otherwise I'd feel bad that we blocked their table. =) I mean, obviously these things happen. The world is gigante, and there are trillions of names that most of us will never even hear in our lifetimes. I don't mind if you ask me 5 times. Or just tell me that I'm writing you down as Giovanni, and I'll be Giovanni for the sake of a good pizza. =D

We are very fond of this restaurant. Their pizzas are delicious; everything is fresh. It is very hard to get a table around weekends if you don't act quickly. We recently discovered their delivery option, but of course it is nothing compared to eating the pizza right away. The dough is puffy and soft anyways, they get soggy after a tour of the city at the back of...

I recently visited Pizzeria Di Napoli and unfortunately, I cannot give it a glowing review. The food was decent and the prices were fair, but I was extremely disappointed by the lack of water at our table. When we asked the staff for a jug of water, they refused without providing any reason or explanation.

As someone who is environmentally conscious, I can appreciate the importance of reducing waste and conserving resources. However, in this case, the decision not to provide water seemed arbitrary and unnecessary. It was frustrating to see the staff make this decision without considering the needs of their customers.

Furthermore, given the current state of our environment and the impact that human activity is having on the planet, it is crucial that businesses do their part to reduce their carbon footprint.

Overall, I would rate my experience at Pizzeria Di Napoli as a 2/5 stars. I hope that the restaurant takes steps to improve their customer service and environmental practices...

Pizza is very good and service is fast. The big but: they told me (I speak Italian, but writing this in English so all foreigneirs to be aware) that we had 1 hour to use that table. Since we were served in 5 minutes we had more than enough time, if we wated to stay more. But well... the armosphere was not pleasant, because the waitress came every minute (literally) to check if we finished eating. It felt that they wanted to kick us out as fast as possible. The restaurant was not full at all (inside, outside in terrace was fulll) and as I mentioned we had time until the hour they gave us finished. I will put more stars for the pizza but the waitress was super annoying. If that is a policy of the restaurant (which didn't seem so because she only checked on our table) her common sense should've told her not to come every 1 minute to check. At least she could have calculated ( because she came very close to check) how many minutes my husband needed to...

Oh my God! For places like this there should be a sixth star! 6 stars for this pizzeria! It's a Napoletana style pizza, but with more evened cheese on it, like the classic pizza version. So it's a mix of classic pizza and Napoletana. They put olive oil on it and it is a little more salty than the usual Verace. But just the right amount of everything. And the place is very tidy, well taken care of and modern. And you get the pizza in minutes even if the place is totally full. They have a system, and the staff is fast and kind. By the way, the queen, the Margerita is only 6 eur! But beware the drinks, as those are too expensive. 3 eur for a Coke. I am very demanding when it comes to pizza and this place just raised the bar higher. This is the best pizza place I have been to.

Dining at DiNapoli was a pleasant experience. We decided to stop here because it was one of the top rated/most recommended pizzerias in Trieste and we definitely weren't disappointed. The sizes were decent and the pizzas were tasty. We ordered 4 cheeses (QUATTRO FORMAGGI) pizza and calzone with chicory (RIPIENO DI SCAROLA). Both pizzas were tasty, the crust was very nice. The pizzas were so filling we didn't have any space for desserts. The staff was polite. They have printed menus in Italian and online menus in English, but if you have any questions, the staff is willing to help/provide additional explanation. If you're in Trieste, we recommend visiting DiNapoli.
