Reviewed by a local - Angelina used to be an excellent trattoria but the quality of the food and service plummeted.

The antipasto misto is still a valid and good-looking platter for 2 people, but that's about it. If you bave never had sea food before, or a sea food based pasta, then it will work out well for you. But if you are looking for something with more of a kick, you will be disappointed.

Beside the antipasto, we ordered the shrimp salad with balsamic vinegard (an absolute scam of a plate), pasta allo scoglio and pasta al pesto. Whilst the portions were good, the dishes were bland, anonymous and overpriced.

Kudos to the young waitress for the excellent service, whilst the manager made up pay also the salad we did not touch for...

Mi ero sempre trovato benissimo da Agelina e sabato sera torno per la terza volta in 3 mesi, non troviamo però le ragazze di sala che eravamo abituati a vedere e che gestivano tutto con sorrisi e gentilezza. Ci troviamo di fronte due signore poco accoglienti e assolutamente fuori luogo ma tant'è, magari erano stanche o sostituivano per una sera le altre due. Preso il solito antipasto della casa, alla nostra seconda richiesta di pane ci vengono portate 2 fettine, cosa vergognosa, ma vabbe magari stava finendo. Arrivano i primi, io in vita mia non avevo mai trovato uno spaghetto così immangiabile, delle 2 una o era scaldato a microonde o ore pasta precotta, una colla totalmente insapore, chiamiamo la signora che piuttosto che scusarsi e rimediare comincia a gridare ché con le ragazze non era mai successo ed ora che c'erano loro invece....a parte ché noi le ragazze le abbiamo conosciute lì, a parte che il piatto esce dalla cucina non lo facevano mica le ragazze, a parte che tutti i commensali erano dello stesso parere, in ogni caso risposta totalmente fuori luogo ed offensiva, ce lo fa rifare, stavolta cottura pasta buona ma in un fiume di sugo e spezie, era commestibile ma non buona, caffè, un dolce e conto, non si è degnata, la signora di dire mi scuso, i caffè ve lì offro, la pasta non la metto in conto, nulla di nulla, neanche ci ha salutati, dubito che questo locale abbia vita lunga con questa gestione. A scanso di equivoci allego la vecchia recensione a 5 stelle che mi sono trovato costretto a modificare: Finalmente una trattoria che fa pesce come si deve!!! Tutto fresco e fatto al momento, cosa non scontata qui, primi inpeccabili davvero squisiti nella loro semplicità, menù non ampio ma di stagione, servizio stratosferico, ci siamo sentiti coccolati ed a casa, prezzo nella media e corretto per ciò che abbiamo preso, consigliato prenotare perché la location è abbastanza piccola. We were there for our Last dinner in Trieste. We were looking for an outstanding dinning experience. According to reviews on Google and Tripadvisor this Place you must try atleast once if you’re in Trieste. But my point of view is the Service was good. Food was good not the exceptional. (But the Starter was Amazing). Home made white wine was Amazing. But they didn’t give us a Menu Card that was an minus point. Also they didn’t have much choices. Maybe during the weekdays they usually serves limited choices or Day based. But Restaurant was fully booked. Everyday same maybe. Overall a nice Trattoria with limited Choices.
