Pizza 7 Fontane — Restaurant in Trieste

I was quite surprised by how much my pizza lacked flavor despite the fairly rich variant I ordered.

This takeaway came quite strongly recommended.

I checked the scores online and they were clearly very high.

I checked a few pictures and they all looked decent.

So with some expectation I ordered a variant that I liked when I was younger and that I know I can hardly find online: 4 formaggi + wurstel.

Now, this is supposed to be one of the richest pizzas one could order.

Unfortunately I found the dough to be very similar to that that you can find in frozen pizza on a supermarket. It was probably pressed with a machine and in general it was extremely regular. It was admittedly well cooked.

The mozzarella had barely any flavor.

The gorgonzola was present only in 3-4 targeted small spots and couldn't be tasted anywhwere else.

I almost couldn't taste the edamer (or whatever the 3rd cheese was).

The Wurstel had a very light taste.

I feel I wasted a lot of calories for almost no satisfaction of the palate.

Delivery was punctual and they brought the pizza up...

Best pizza 😍 Best service and tasty pizza 😋 very very good... incredibly tasty, cooked with heart and in the best Italian traditions ... You will never find such a pizza in tourist places ...
