I tried the tropean salad, the grilled swordfish, and the tiramisu. The salad was delicious, all of the ingredients were very fresh and paired well. Might have used the bread to soak up some of the salad juices 😂 for my main I had the grilled swordfish. I don’t have swordfish often, so I don’t know whether or not it’s the sort of fish that’s meant to have a lot of flavor or is more bland by nature. But even though it didn’t have much flavor, you could tell it was very fresh and the lemon was nice to add to it a bit. The edges of it were quite crispy and my favorite part of the fish. For dessert I saved room for the tiramisu. Well, it wasn’t anything to write home about in my opinion, but was good. I would return to try more of the menu. Overall even though I wasn’t “wowed” I can appreciate that everything was very fresh and would recommend this place to others and would eat here again. Wow, wow, wow! Honestly forget the star rating and do yourself a favour and go here!! We were a table of 8 and they seated us straight away without a booking! The setting is absolutely beautiful! In a gorgeous little street/courtyard. Just walking to the restaurant was a highlight of Tropea! My son really wanted carbonara but it wasn’t on the menu they said they would make it for us anyways! The service was impeccable and the FOOD….. oh my god! Do yourself a favour and get the seafood ravioli! The bisque with the ravioli, I will be dreaming about that for years!
