My wife and I wanted to have something light, so we stopped at a small fried fish store. We ordered the mixed fried fish and the vegetarian option. We sat down on the public benches opposite and watched life go by as everyone waited patiently for their turn. I noticed a board with various fish panini options, and the baccalà sandwich caught my eye: roasted pepper, Tropea sauce, and lemon mayo. We decided to add the sandwich to the order, and boy, are we happy we did. The fried fish and vegetables were amazing, but the sandwich was on another level. It's by far the best sandwich I've had in a long time. As we were eating, we decided that our boys, who had decided not to come with us, had to try it even if it was takeaway. We went back into the shop to order the sandwich that we had just tried. Unfortunately, they had just run out and recommended a fresh raw tuna sandwich. The kids like tuna but had never had it fresh in a sandwich. I trusted my instincts and ordered it. The kids loved it (16 and 19). I really couldn't recommend this place more highly. Wir hätten sehr sehr gern dort gegessen, aber die Öffnungszeiten auf der Website stimmen leider nicht mit der Realität überein. Wir waren Dienstags gegen 14:50 Uhr dort, die Tür war offen, beim eintreten sagte man uns, es werde erst 18 Uhr geöffnet. Sehr schade, da wir das 2. Mal dort Pech mit den veröffentlichten Öffnungszeiten hatten (Dienstag 11:30–16:00 18:30–00:30).

Ich korrigiere meine frustrierte Bewertung auf 5* nach oben, nachdem wir bei einem (eher zufälligen) 3. Versuch, einen geöffneten Laden vorgefunden haben und so freundlich und angenehm empfangen wurden, dass wir ersteinmal einen Aperitif bestellten. Dann ging es mit einem sehr sehr leckeren Essen weiter. Sowohl Enrico aus der Bar, als auch die Jungs aus dem Foodbereich waren super gut drauf, dass Essen und die Getränke waren perfekt. Es hat uns viel viel Spaß gemacht dort zu sein. Ab jetzt regelmäßig, wenn wir hier sind.

Aber bitte bei Gelegenheit die Öffnungszeiten im Internet anpassen. 😉

Ci sarebbe piaciuto mangiare lì, ma purtroppo gli orari di apertura indicati sul sito web non corrispondono alla realtà. Ci siamo recati lì un martedì verso le 14:50, la porta era aperta, ma quando siamo entrati ci hanno detto che non si sarebbe aperta prima delle 18:00. Peccato, perché la seconda volta siamo stati sfortunati con gli orari di apertura pubblicati (martedì 11:30–16:00 18:30–00:30).

Ho alzato la mia valutazione "frustrata" a 5* dopo che abbiamo trovato il negozio aperto al nostro terzo tentativo (piuttosto casuale) e siamo stati accolti così calorosamente e piacevolmente che abbiamo ordinato prima un aperitivo. Poi abbiamo continuato con un pasto davvero molto delizioso. Sia Enrico del bar che i ragazzi della ristorazione erano di ottimo umore, il cibo e le bevande erano perfetti. Ci siamo divertiti tantissimo lì. D'ora in poi, regolarmente quando saremo qui.

Vi preghiamo però di modificare gli orari di apertura su Internet quando...

Great little place for quick food... Location is excellent in the center of Tropea... Near cathedral you can buy this street food... I was few times in Tropea and always I take sandwich or cuopo from here... There you can see many people who seat on the stone bench or just staying there and eat this see products... Food is always fresh and taste..You wait few minutes for prepare and they call your number from little window.... They make this excellent... Price is normal and correct... People who work there is so kind and helpful... All recommendations for visit and take some nice food if you are...
