We stopped here to try some authentic local cuisine and were blown away by the delicious risotto dishes, and the fantastic service. My husband enjoyed a burrata & sausage version, while I had a saffron & shrimp version. Both were fantastic! The drinks were delicious as well (Aperol spritz & a beer on tap). Service cannot be complimented enough. Our waiter was kind, patient (I tried to speak Italian and he helped me), and funny. Prompt & polite service. The only reason for taking off a star is that the lunch of the day special—suckling pig with potatoes—came out very, very dry, and the potatoes were cold. I could not eat the dish, which is too bad because everything else was perfection. We are considering going back for more risotto!...

This place was recommended by a friend of a friend who said it was really good. I'm sure it is but I personally found the gnocchi quite stodgy and dry. The taste was nice but the portion just too large and I was bored of the taste after about 1/3rd of the bowl. The sorbet was fine but they weren't very clear about the flavours - I thought I was getting grapefruit? But I got strawberry instead. My husband's tarte tatin seemed nice though. Mi trovo costretta a malincuore a lasciare una recensione negativa su uno dei posti con il miglior rapporto qualità prezzo che abbia mai frequentato. Posso definirmi cliente da più di 10 anni, eppure la scenata di quest'oggi fatta al telefono dalla titolare, mi ha fatto passare la voglia di frequentarlo. Prenoto ieri sera tardi un tavolo da 7 con due seggioloni e gentilmente riescono a trovarmi posto. Nella notte sto male, molto male ed al mattino chiedo ai nostri amici di avvisare il ristorante. Accade quello che spesso accade ai genitori con i bimbi piccoli, ossia i nostri amici non li contattano per tempo e ricevo una telefonata dalla proprietaria a dir poco furente per il danno arrecatole. Le spiego che ho avuto un problema serio di salute nella notte e mi viene risposto che lei non sta a condividere i suoi problemi di salute. Mi scuso più volte e vengo aggredita senza che si ammorbidisca minimamente quando le ribadisco che non sto ancora bene. Per fare ammenda le propongo addirittura di farle un bonifico per risarcirla del danno subito ma lei non accetta e non si ammorbidisce anche quando dico che siamo clienti da anni e li abbiamo sempre sponsorizzati con amici e parenti. Mi spazientisco e si offende quando le dico che non avrei mai più frequentato il suo locale perché, a mio parere, la differenza tra un buon ristoratore ed un ottimo ristoratore la deve fare anche la cortesia e l'umanità, doti di cui la titolare appare sprovvista. In conclusione, mangerete sicuramente bene ed i ragazzi che servono saranno molto disponibili ma auguratevi di non stare mai male a ridosso della prenotazione o la signora vi tratterà come ha trattato me....Meglio una Piola di periferia in cui, la persona a cui spiegate l'accaduto, accetta le vostre scuse e magari vi augura anche una pronta guarigione al...
