L’osteria degli ottoni é stata una gradevole scoperta nascosta in una viuzza del centro. Il locale era molto tranquillo con cameriere particolarmente cortesi. Ho ordinato un antipasto piemontese (che mi sono dimenticato di fotografare) che comprendeva 4 fettine di vitello tonnato, 3 pezzettini di salsiccia di bra con salsa alle nocciole e una piccola tartare di fassona. A mio parere un discreto antipasto anche se forse avrei rivisto l’impiattamento o aumentato leggermente le porzioni visto il prezzo di 15€. A seguire ho ordinato plin al sugo di arrosto, questi eccezionali e perfettamente equilibrati in sapidità e carattere, probabilmente uno dei miei piatti preferiti. Un altro primo ordinato sono stati i tajerin alle zucchine e alici, questo primo invece non mi ha esaltato troppo e ho ritenuto questa portata un pó un azzardo, a mio parere la ricetta tipica piemontese dei tajerin al ragù é nettamente meglio. Ho concluso in fine la cena con una guancia al barolo che devo dire essere stata eseguita a regola d’arte, morbida e veramente gustosa (nella foto vedete metà guancia di vitello perché le cameriere sono state così gentili da dividerci il piatto in due, questa un’accortezza particolarmente apprezzata). We visited Milano and Torino, and this is by far the best restaurant that we tried. A "must go" to enjoy the delicious piedmontese dishes that they prepare. You instantaneously feel the family tradition behind the dishes and the environment that they create.
