Tokyo Zen — Restaurant in Turin

I had an absolutely horrible experience at Turino Tokyo Zen. While eating, I found a piece of plastic in my sushi! This could have been dangerous if I had eaten it. The waiters were kind and apologized, acknowledging that this was unacceptable. However, the manager’s behavior was shocking.

At first, he offered to deduct only €4 from our €44.8 bill, despite it being an all-you-can-eat sushi deal for €17.9 per person. I was willing to eat more until I saw the plastic, which completely ruined my appetite. When I pointed this out, the manager started yelling, accusing me of having already eaten 10 small plates. I reminded him that it’s an all-you-can-eat system, and I’m paying for the right to eat as much as I want.

To make matters worse, he canceled the €4 discount entirely and forced us to pay the full bill, even though the issue was entirely the restaurant’s fault. Instead of resolving the matter professionally, he screamed at me in front of everyone and then kicked us out of the restaurant, humiliating us in front of the other customers. Even the waiters seemed embarrassed by his behavior.

This was hands down the worst dining experience I’ve ever had. A restaurant that serves contaminated food and treats customers with such disrespect does not deserve anyone’s business.

Do yourself a favor and stay far away...

It used to be a good place but now they are trying to cut costs… less choices in menu and horrible QR code menu ordering System and waiting time has increased so much .. I don’t even bother to order twice cos you don’t want to eat by the time order comes and sometimes they will bring you the same thing twice but not the one you asked for. And the people working there are so rude except the owner … I asked for sauce and she told me you haven’t finished the one before so I won’t bring you another,like really ? We were 4 people on the table.. We went there to have fun but it was just so horrible… in the end they increased the price and decreased the Quality…. i think crisis are coming for this restaurant.. From one of the top I predict if they don’t do something they will loose hell alot of customers. I don’t recommend anyone...

Taste wise is okay. We arrived super early and had reservation, at the beginning everything arrived super fast, but started getting full and we felt like we were forgotten. When we order the last time, took some time to arrive, I'm pretty sure that one plate didn't arrived, and a staff get our plates and stuff bc she thought that we had finished (the food didn't arrived yet) and asked if we wanted order more, not if everything arrived. 2 seconds after she took everything out the food arrived. I think bc we arrived early, when started getting full they kinda forgot about us or thought that...
