Beautifully designed restaurant. I loved the open kitchen. We had the fried polenta for starter, it was fun. For the main courses we had the beef cheek and the tortelloni which is their specialty. The tortellonis were perfectly prepared, like a work of art. The beef cheek was soft and tender, like butter, probably the best I’ve ever had. However the bouillon (meat gravy) which was the same for both plates, was extremely salty. So salty that it completely ruined the dish for me, I couldn’t finish my plate. Such a shame. It seems like a chef’s error, perhaps he spilled too much salt in the pot and didn’t taste before serving, because if he had tasted it he would never allow such a plate to reach the table. But I only removed 1 star because I suspect it’s a one time mistake. Next time I’m in Turin I’ll try again. For dessert we had the tarttatin and tiramisu, both good, the tiramisu is really creamy and unique with nuts which is not typical but was excellent. All in all a good experience, fair prices and...
Read moreAbsolute perfect end to my stay in Turin. I did not expect much but was blown away. The food is as excellent as the service - the lady who served me was super friendly and recommended delicious wine and dishes. I had two glasses of piedmont red wines (one reserved) with a four course meal: Starter of Onion baked with a center of sausage meats and drenched in a cheesy sauce. Goodness! To die for. Plin similar to agnolioti or ravioli in a meat sauce. It was morsels of heaven filled with meaty cheesy fillings and the pasta is al dente, swimming in a hearty meat broth. It brought tears to my eyes. Wild boar - I thought I would regret my choice but turn out to be a flavorful dish with delicious sauce and beautifully plated. Zabaione served with wheat flour cookies. Warm, citrusy and a hint of alcohol? It’s a wonderful Italian end to the dinner. Seated in front of the kitchen and I was treated to two hours of reality tv - wondrous action in full view. Makes me want to come back to...
Read moreOur experience begins with a simple reservation, being on a Monday I thought there would be no problem finding a table, in reality the room was full and we had an option for external tables. the staff is very knowledgeable about presentation and service, above all very friendly, apparently the menu changes very quickly and we opted for a starter condition to be able to try more dishes. The quality of the food is really good, regarding the wine, there is a very unique and high quality list, the owner is a well-known sommelier who will be able to best express your choice. unfortunately it started to rain and we had to wait a bit to get a table inside, special thanks go to Riccardo who managed to prevent all the customers from getting wet while continuing to provide excellent service and obviously our waitress Marina who made our evening perfect and thanks to all the staff. Next time I return to Turin you will be the first on my list to be...
