Miro exhibition, Turin : Mirò. L'Arte della Meraviglia

The Miró exhibition is truly beautiful.

I went there, drawn in by a promotional flyer featuring one of his iconic works.

The exhibition is housed in a beautiful building surrounded by a university park and located near the Po River.

It provides a clear and engaging overview of the artist Joan Miró’s journey, notably including an interview in which he passionately explains his work—a blend of creativity and technique.

A small portion of the works presented by Miró are truly stunning. Each piece is unique and reveals the artist’s inner life—his emotions, but also, at times, intellectual messages.

The artwork I liked most was mainly yellow, but also featured blue and red. To me, it was full of joy, hope, and energy, with a childlike touch. There is a sense of disorder, but a disorder filled with freedom, one that breaks away from the constraints of everyday life.

In the end, I left the exhibition feeling re-energized and with the sense that I had acquired a kind of treasure. The artworks...

We came to Turin specially for the Utamaro/Hokusai exhibition and found it appalling that a large crowd was listlessly lingering at the porch, the front door locked, and a hand-scribbled note "Closed today" pasted on the door. The gallery phone was dead, and Vivaticket, where most people purchase their tickets, said it was "emergency maintenance" today. Granted, a reimbursementwas promised. But why are Vivaticket and the museum extract every contact detail possible from you if not to message or call when it's an emergency like this?! People could go about their day in a different way and not waste time. There should have been a representative on this porch. Such disrespect is unworthy of a metropolitan culture...

Lavoro per un'associazione storica di Torino che si occupa di ragazzi con disabilità. Accompagniamo i ragazzi nelle varie e interessanti attività offerte sul territorio. Per tempo abbiamo preso accordi telefonici e via mail per prenotare la visita alla mostra Space Adventure con dei ragazzi e per chiedere inoltre info sui costi. Ci è stata assicurata nella risposta alla mail la gratuità sia per i ragazzi che per i loro accompagnatori (sul sito veniva garantita già la gratuità per entrambi) Sabato scorso i ragazzi e gli accompagnatorissi sono recati alla mostra e: colpo di scena! Gli accompagnatori si sono sentiti dire che, nonostante la loro mail a riprova della gratuità di ragazzi e accompagnatori, nonostante la loro pregressa chiamata, le regole erano cambiate. Eh già. Niente da fare, nonostante le giuste rimostranze, lo staff si è mostrato freddo e ottuso nella propria ingiusta ragione. Gli accompagnatori hanno pagato il biglietto, è stato "concesso" loro di pagarne solo uno. Ma grazie. Mi complimento con l'organizzazione che ancora una volta ha dimostrato che in Italia vince l'ignoranza, il pressapochismo e l'assoluta mancanza di professionalità. Vergognatevi! Segnalo questo disservizio gravissimo qui e dove mi sarà possibile. Ah. Aggiungo che adesso sul sito i costi segnalati sono di biglietto ridotto per gli accompagnatori e gratuito per i i disabili. Ah. Aggiungo ancora che oggi ho chiamato e un vostro impiegato mi ha detto che i biglietti sono ridotti per entrambi, dicendomi che i costi sono cambiati da una settimana. E sabato c'era una politica ancora diversa? Buon lavoro e...
