Ristorante Santa Chiara — Restaurant in Udine

Maybe we were spoiled by all the other amazing restaurants in Udine, but we all found food here ok but too greasy and not tasty. Safe to say that this was the worst Aperol I had in Italy: it was watered down and had no gas at all (as if they had done it with bottles opened the day before). I asked them to please fix it and they seemed very annoyed, and brought back another drink with more water. We went there in July 2023 and spent 28 euros per person, whereas we spent an average of 18-19 in all the other (very good) restaurants we went to in Udine. Sono ritornato volentieri a mangiare la pizza con amici al Ristorante Santa Chiara in Via Grazzano a Udine, la mia città, due sabato fa, poichè mi ricordavo del gusto eccezionale dell'accoppiata Burrata e 'Nduja presenti sull'omonima pizza.

Ebbene ero cosí certo della bontà del piatto che due cari amici l' hanno presa al volo, e son rimasti altrettanto colpiti dal suo sapore🔝.

Io per variare ho scelto la Calabrese, una pizza con 'Nduja e Cipolla Rossa di Tropea, strepitosa, e ancora adesso che ci penso, e che ne parlo, mi viene fame e una sana voglia di rimangiarla.

A proposito, avevo cosí fame quella sera, che mi son dimenticato di fotografare il piatto😂.

Gli amici di Gorizia, vengono raramente in zona, e pur conoscendo anche altri posti dove si mangia bene, mi hanno chiesto di portarli in un ristorante dove vale la pena andare, et voilà! Detto e fatto!
