We booked to celebrate a 35th birthday dinner of 25 people. The appetisers were of poor quality, the first course was a pasta with the remaining of the fish starters. Embarrassing due to the fact that we booked in advance for the evening. At the end of the dinner the waiter was absolutely disrespectful of the guests yelling and screaming that he is not serving deserts to us - as the table is too long and he won’t go around to take orders. Another waiter comes outside saying she wants to go home and she leaves few glasses of sorbetto and coffee at one end. (It was just past midnight and others tables were there as very single lido near by). We asked for a small candle for the birthday girl and they completely ignored it. This is my favourite restaurant in Viareggio for lunch or dinner in the summer for a few reasons. All of the seafood pastas are cooked to perfection, incredibly fresh and flavourful. The main courses are delicious too, but the pasta is out of this world. The staff is accommodating and professional. I highly recommend Florindo to anyone who is looking for a delicious seaside meal in an elegant but relaxed setting at an affordable price. In addition, if you find yourself in the company of children, there is a small playground where the children can play while you enjoy dinner conversation at the table. A very special summer spot. Avevo voglia di cenare con I piedi nella sabbia e così è stato . Ristorante scelto a caso sinceramente , ma nel mezzo al mare si può trovare sempre una perla . Location molto carina , poi quando c'e il mare tutto diventa magico . Servizio ottimo , i ragazzi di sala tutti molto simpatici , cortesi e molto alla mano , da farci sentire subito a nostro agio . Cibo direi nella norma , per questo le mie 3 stelle, che associato al prezzo totale direi un pochino troppo , ok la location, ok che siamo in versilia , ma i piatti provati , specialmente le linguine con astice ,fuori menù e in assenza di prezzo ( 25€) avevano poco sapore di mare il pomodoro , a parer mio , messo in eccesso , copriva il tutto . Frittura insomma per il costo di 18€ era decisamente poca , non il top ma mangiabile. Nella grigliata mista , dal momento cve costa 25€ , avrei preferito 2 scampi piuttosto che una grande quantità si totani , che si sa sono meno costosi e riempiono i piatti. Abbiamo accompagnato il fine pasto con dolce , sgroppino e caffè , al costo totale di 119€ .
