If I could give this McDonalds a 0/10 I would. I had the most terrible experience today. The food was 3/5. I waited over 20mins for “a small nuggets meal”. It was obviously busy so, I understood. I sat and waited until my number was called. Upon receiving my meal, the employee called out my number in Italian. I saw her packing it in the takeaway bag so I figured, it was probably my meal. I said “Can you please tell me the number in English?” I saw all the other employees doing this, reading it out in Italian and English. She responded “this is Italy, why don’t you understand Italian, you should be able to speak”. I tried to explain, that I don’t speak Italian and she continued with her ignorant & disrespectful comments. It’s an airport with people of all sorts coming and going. How do you expect to only serve Italian speakers? In Australia- an ignorant, disrespectful employee would’ve been terminated but I guess, each country to their own. I tried speaking to the manager, she couldn’t understand English but got another employee who could speak. As I was explaining the whole scenario to him, this lady jumped into the conversation and continued with her unnecessary commentary in the background. Regardless of what employment one works in, this behaviour is so unacceptable & should not be tolerated. It seems, in this store it is tolerated. I’ve eaten at McDonald all over the world, and this is BY FAR THE WORST McDonalds in the ENTIRE WORLD!!!! The staff are just plain RUDE and the food is TERRIBLE!!!! I asked if I could please have extra pickles on my Big Mack and the cashier said no, I said I would pay extra and she rudely again said “no, take it as it is or order something else”. When I received my meal the big Mack was cold, the bread was stale, and there was one pickle and no lettuce. I didn’t bother taking it back and after one bite I looked inside and threw the entire meal in the trash. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY HERE!!!! You will be very very disappointed. In reading some of the other reviews I’m shocked that McDonalds corporate office doesn’t do something about this store, it’s and incredibly bad image for McDonalds to have such a horrible store. It also shocks me how busy they are and how people put up with waiting 30 plus minutes to order and receive their food (and accept the rude behavior of the staff). This store should either get the training McDonalds is known for and up their standard (after getting rid of all this staff), or McDonals corporate needs to shut this...

Disappointing Experience – Overpriced, Mediocre Food, and Poor Service

When planning my trip from this airport in June 2024, I expected the usual McDonald’s standard but was unfortunately disappointed.

Upon arrival, we found a long line at the counter with no option to order via terminal. The menu was limited, and when I inquired about using vouchers, I was met with a curt response that they were simply not accepted. It quickly became clear why—when it was time to pay, I was surprised by the significantly higher prices compared to other McDonald’s locations for the same meal.

Sadly, the food itself was mediocre at best. Adding to the frustration, the restaurant had no toilets nearby, requiring a long detour to reach one—only to find it in a less-than-sanitary state.
