What a lovely place! AND an even lovelier lady. While visiting Sarteano I paid a visit to this bakery. After making my selections and ready to pay, the woman told me they don’t take credit cards. I quickly realized I didn’t have any Euros only American dollars. She was so nice, she handed me the bag and said “tomorrow, you pay tomorrow!” Wow, I’m fairly certain this would NEVER happen in Miami. Just as I was leaving I realized I did have some Euros that I had forgotten about. I paid her and was on my way. There are still very good people in the world.
