La Corte Medicea — Restaurant in Unione dei Comuni Valdichiana Senese

The location of La Corte Medicea is perfect. It is outside of the historic centre so you are able to drive right to the door and park for free in front. There is paid and free public parking outside of the building as the B&B is attached to a wine store/restaurant. In the afternoon parking is pretty full but once evening comes it opens up. To check in to the B&B you go into the store. The staff are amazing. Our room wasn’t quite ready when we arrived so she gave us wine, cheese, and meats while we waited. |The rooms at the B&B are on the third level so you will have to be prepared to carry your things up...which was not a problem for us. |The bed was comfortable and the view from our window was amazing. The bathroom is large with great water pressure in the shower.|We had dinner at the restaurant one evening and it was excellent! |It is a short walk into the historic centre where there are shops and restaurants. |We loved our stay in...

We had a great stay at La Corte Medicea and liked everything about the place.||We had a lovely old room with old dark wooden furniture and a view out across the mountains. There were tea and coffee making facilities and a fridge too.||Breakfast is in the large area with the vats and bottles and the table was laid out for our breakfast. There was a tasty spread of hams, cheeses, large croissants we ordered the day before and coffee, olive oils and much of the food was local.||The staff here were so friendly and we had some really nice chats to them.||It is only a short walk into town and if driving there are some free parking spaces outside along from the metered parking.||The hotel is a great base and a great place to stay and would be happy to stay...
