Bríccocafè — Restaurant in Venice

Price is insane, but what do you expect inside an airport. Food itself was fine. However, I had been waiting for my order (they warm up the food a bit before they give it to you) for very long before asking the lady if it was being made. She asked me what I ordered. I told her. She asked for my receipt, which I had stupidly thrown away. She proceeded to become quite annoyed/angry with me, asking me why I did that. I showed her proof that I paid and asked multiple times if I should retrieve the receipt from the trash. All I got as an answer was angry looks and I had to repeat my order like three times again. She did eventually get it for me and it was my fault that I didn't keep the receipt, but to be fair all I was told was to 'wait there' and other people were helped without having to show a receipt at all. Which is why I threw it away, thinking I wouldn't need it. In short, they are quite impolite, rude and unprofessional. Maybe their PR manager needs to give them a presentation on how to talk to...

My wife and I bought a slice of "formaggio e melanzana" pizza (€6.90) and a "Ciao" sandwich (€7.50). Both were much better than we anticipated! Yes, they were overpriced, but what can you do when you're in an airport? The hermetically sealed sandwiches at the airport pharmacy are €5.50!

The reason I gave it 4 stars is because of the utterly confusing ordering system. All of the sandwiches and pizzas are in a display case, but oddly you don't order where you can see the food and choose what you want to eat! You order at a counter a few meters away. Then you get a receipt that you must give to the employees at the counter where the food is displayed, and they prepare your food. This means that everyone is crowded around the food display so you can't see what's available! It took me a few minutes to figure out how this ordering system worked as there were no signs.

I have recently visited this cafe in airport and had to order food as there were no other options .pizza options are few and while the pizza we ordered was good (my son liked it ) there was not much choice.secondly we ordered pasta and it’s a bit confusing as the choices are not clearly displayed and being a busy place I don’t think this is right kind of food we need in airport .what we need is quick service food outlet and there is not one in airport. Choices are very limited and I being vegetarian struggled really as they didn’t seem to keep things separately so opted for a sandwich instead.
