Unfortunately had a poor experience at de Canto Wine and Bar. Till waiting for my Landing at the Airport decided to get my Lunch by them. The Waiter a Man middle 40's greeted me and offered me a table to sit. I decided myself for a Polenta in Tomato Sauce with Scaloops. I had to wait 40Minutes to get my Food. In meanwhile I wanted to order some Water, tried to smile to the Waiter and talk to him. He said that he has no time for my order and left in rush. Another Waiter brought me 2 times a Glas of Chardonnay. After another 10Minutes they brought me My Polenta. It was dry and cold. Sadly after knapp an hour of waiting for my food I had no time to argue with them, did not want to lose my Flight.    Read moreAs it says on the menu many times. A service charge is applied PER PERSON (including children). It also states on the menu that the food pictured isnât exactly what youâll get, understandable. Service was slow and for no apparent reason, we were one of five tables. This is normal for Europe to not immediately be waited upon, but this defiantly seemed to an extreme. Food was not fresh. We ordered the roast beef salad, mozzarella salad, Caesar and Tortellini (truffle and cheese sauce). The Caesar used mayonnaise for dressing which was bland and tasteless. The lettuce was iceberg also bland and colorless. Almost had the texture of cabbage it was so bad. The roast beef salad had over cooked eggplant which is âslimy and not satisfyingâ. The buffalo mozzarella salad was the best salad, looked and tasted as advertised. The tortellini was as advertised and quite delicious. For this reason only I give it 2 stars over 1 star. The pasta was most reasonable and the best.
Stay away from the salads, beware of surcharge to sit, and donât expect...
