Doppio Malto Venezia Aeroporto — Restaurant in Venice

DO NOT GO HERE - We had a terrible experience to end our holiday in this restaurant. The outside nice seating and nice decor might draw you in but it is really not the nice restaurant that it looks. We had to get up 4 TIMES in total to be served our drinks and food after an HOUR of waiting (in an airport this is not acceptable, some airport restaurants have a waiting time of 5 minutes). We had to ask to be served TWICE after 20 minutes of being in the restaurant, and then another TWO TIMES to even get our food, let alone the drinks which came after the food? If i could give it a zero, I would. On the third time we got up to ask about our food, as our flight was soon, we were informed that the order hadn’t even been put through on the system???!!! The worst service we have ever experienced by far, especially for an airport restaurant this was shocking. The staff were not friendly and ignored us unless approached. Would not recommend to anyone. Funnily enough, everywhere else we visited in Italy was absolutely amazing with the quickest service we’ve ever experienced, so I don’t know what this restaurant is doing, but there’s definitely many things that need improving. To top it all off, they charged us full price with service, which is crazy. Please do not waste your money or time...

Worst service ever. They are exceptionly rude. I approached the reception desk and they just barked at me to sit anywhere. So I sat. Then I asked to order they said no go back to the reception desk. When I went back they said no go and sit down. When i sat they said move to another table so i did. When i tried to order now after 35 minutes of being moved around and waiting for them to come, i told them i needed it to go or i miss my flight. They then I said I could not sit if I wanted it take away. So I was moved AGAIN to the bar. A man named Bennianmo in a blue shirt or something like that (this was 3 july around 6.30pm), he was extremely rude and even shushed me when I was asking for assistance. Benniey/Bennianmo is very slow and very unprofessional man. Waiter very rude. Table dirty. I have ordered a main course which arrived wrong; when I notified that, the waiter did not said a word, neither apologize. It tooks 2 hrs and 10 minutes since I sit, to eat a burger and a coffee...unbelievable. A wedding party would have take less time. I do understand that they take advantages of the fact that in the airports there is not much choice of restaurant like in the town so there is mole likelihood to get guests anyway, but management should take action to restabilish an acceptable level to welcome their customer. A table in front of me, literaly left because were sitting there for 1 hr (I have took time) and being ignored by all waiters (8 in total and restaurant was half busy). Very disappointing.
