I sapori delle Vignole — Restaurant in Venice

I have been already 2 times at Sapori delle Vignole and It has been phenomenal. Nowadays, as a venitian, it is difficult to find a local restaurant with such a unique atmosphere, great local food and fresh ingredients. The service is Wonderful, characterized by a team of people who is always welcoming you as part of the family and very professional. The chef surprised me every time with new seasonal dishes representing the tradition of Venice. All of this at a very good price. Do yourself a favour and spend a night there with them. We arrived at 9 am and were immediately offered a table. After a few meals in the Castillo area, this restaurant stands out on all levels: the service is nice and honest as the waiter advised us not to order a fish after the special of the day, photo included, which was a huge and delicious oven plate: pasta and langoustine. Nice quiet street. Chichetti was ok but not as good as other places. House fizzy wine delicious. Attentive about veggie options. 2 in our party had sea bass, asked if happy to share, but didn’t advise it be €90 instead of €36 (2x€18)! Dampener on evening, spoiled the otherwise attentive service. Won’t be back and would not recommend based on this. If only had advised of the difference, review would have been very different.. and we probably would have came back. So they lost out in...
