Architecture biennale 2021. Must see exhibition for all Architecture and design lovers. Pavilion of Belgium is always having amazing exhibitions. Even this time, many models in 1:50 scale, colorful and simply amazing. One of the favorite pavilions of this year’s biennale. 50 different arch. projects of the past 20 years, showing a balanced architectural ecology and bringing together different styles, functions, and typologies. At the entrance to giardini they are checking Green passes. Friendly stuff. Highly recommended visiting 👍

The visit to the Belgium Pavilion during the 18th Biennale (The Laboratory of the Future) was an amazing experience. The pavilion showcased the innovative use of mushrooms as a building material for the future. This approach has the potential to reduce material consumption and promote a more sustainable construction sector. Based on my positive experience, I highly recommend to visit the Belgium Pavilion. It is a thought-provoking exhibition that highlights the possibilities of sustainable building practices.

The 2022 exhibition by Francis Alÿs of playing children around the world had me smiling the whole way though, although it was an anxious smile when watching the one of the children rolling down a hill inside a lorry tyre!!

Super disappointing exhibition. As a Belgian citizen I felt ashamed of the ´art’ (a couple of giant puppets) on display in the Belgian pavilion. I know that we have a lot of promising artists in Belgium, but they were absent here. It was not worth my money at all and I hope the people responsible for this failure will switch from arts to a new orientation. One word:...
