Ristorante Bistrot 55 — Restaurant in Venice

I would go to Bistrot 55 even just for the desserts. My only real suggestion is that: keep a little space for the dessert! That is not always easy as they offer amazing food that gets inspiration from the tradition of the venetian cuisine but with a modern touch. I also appreciate the fact that most of the dishes can be prepared in small or regular size in order to be able to share different dishes even in a small party, like a proper cicchetto. The place is young and can be busy, but even in the rush hour the staff has been anything but kind and professional. Last thing to mention is the choice of beers, different brand than the one you usually find around, it's good to see something new. But if you go there bear in mind: DO NOT FORGET...

A very nice location in a lovely corner just few steps from Piazza Ferretto. Atmosphere is relax and elegant, either inside and outside and the service is precise and fast.

The menu is modern Italian with some insertion of fusion dishes (we have visited the location for dinner). Interesting the possibility to choose between a standard and a reduced portion.

Very busy in the evening but only because it must be a really popular place as the food was delightful. Definitely book as it gets so busy and you are unlikely to get a table if you turn up having not booked. The menu was very advanced with great venecian cuisines and more traditional food.
