I recently had the pleasure of dining at Restaurante Terazza dei Nobili Pizzeria on the Venice waterfront, and it was truly an unforgettable experience. We stopped to get some drinks. We weren’t even halfway done with our drinks and they asked us if we were going to eat. We said we were probably just going to do drinks. We were planning on another round. The server told us if we weren’t going to order to pay because this was a restaurant. I see at least ten empty tables. Ten. The place is empty. We didn’t even finish our drinks. I’ve never felt so humiliated by a restaurant. The worst part is that we are celebrating my birthday today and I just wanted a Prosecco and an oyster by the water. By their bad 3.8 stars, I can see why they have that rating.
