Avoid – cold food, no refund, and zero care given
Visited with my wife and child and had one of the most disappointing meals we've had in Italy. The food was served lukewarm at best — the ramen soup was barely warm, the dumplings were cold, and the chicken fillet was actually cold to the touch. I told the owner the food was cold, as I’m certain it’s meant to be hot, and he looked completely unbothered.
He took the dumplings away, but when he brought them back, they were still cold. At that point, it was clear nothing is freshly cooked here. There’s no chef — just reheated food and no care or quality behind it.
We didn’t eat the food and asked for a refund, which was refused. No apology, no concern — just a shrug.
If you’re visiting Italy, stick to the local pasta and pizza spots run by Italians who actually care about what they serve. This place is a total waste of...
Read moreI recently dined at Zui Ramen, a newly opened spot in Venice. The food was decent: affordable prices and generous portions of ramen that hit the spot if you’re craving something warm and quick. The broth was flavorful, and the noodles had a good texture, though the side ingredients could have been fresher. For the price, it’s a solid choice for a fast, budget-friendly meal. Unfortunately, the atmosphere completely ruined the experience. The place has a pleasant vibe that could be charming in a rustic way. However, the mood was shattered by loud, annoying trap rap music blaring from the speakers. The music was so intrusive and out of place that it made conversation impossible and turned a potentially enjoyable dinner into a frustrating experience. I’d only go back if they changed that awful playlist.
Read moreI’m Japanese, so I didn’t expect much from ramen in Venice — but I was genuinely impressed. The flavor was much better than I imagined, and it really exceeded my expectations. The prices were very reasonable, and the staff were incredibly kind and welcoming. I left feeling very happy and satisfied!
Some comments say that this ramen is completely different from what you find in Japan, but expecting truly authentic Japanese ramen in Venice is unrealistic. I respect the effort and dedication of this restaurant to recreate the flavor as much...
