A wonderful little restaurant in the town of Vercelli. On a quiet Tuesday lunch we were welcomed by the hostess herself, and the chef proudly brought each dish to the table. Friendly, professional service throughout.
The food was truly local, and the wine list ranged from Marche to Piedmont. From the selection we chose a Roero Arneis, which paired beautifully with our meal. We enjoyed a tuna tartare, a beef tartare made from local Fassona beef, and shared a porcini risotto. For dessert, the classic tiramisu and an Amaro with a refreshing hint of mint.
Every bite was absolutely delicious – the kind of flavors that make you hum with pleasure. Guests came and went, yet everything in the restaurant flowed so naturally. We spent a delightful time here and left with a smile on our faces.
