Il Cappero — Restaurant in Verona

Wow, this was ah-MAZ-ing!! We were referred by our waiter at the Inn we stayed at up the hill. First off our server was wonderful--made our night From the rosemary focaccia with amazing olive oil, Eggplant Parm and anchovy appetizers plus the Amarone---what a great start. The orcchietta with calamari (server recomndation), lasagne, & the linguine with mussels x 2 did not disappoint this party of 4. The tiramisu and strawberry dessert (marscapone with wafers) topped off with yummy local liquors: limoncello & another 12 flavor homemade liquor, this just doesn't get any better. Do yourself a favor and don't miss this...

INSIDER TIP!!! The food is amazing. The restaurant is located just outside the center but it is worth the walk. 💯 We had the "gamberi in pasta croccante" as a starter and then some fish as a main. Just delicious. The waiter recommended us a perfect glas of wine 🍷that suited the course amazingly. For desert we shared the "millefoglie". To be honest I regret sharing it, it was that good. 😬 Waiters were very forthcoming and friendly. We were surprised how fast the dishes came even with a pretty busy restaurant. 10/10 I can only recommend paying...

Very nice restaurant with delicious Italian food. We went for dinner during the week. We had 2 starters (Melanzane and the vegetarian starter) and 2 pasta dishes as main course. The melanzane was excellent and super fresh. The vegetables in the 2nd starter were very fresh. The two main courses were also excellent. The gnocchi with gourmet sauce were beautifully flavorful and the pasta cacio e pepe was nice and creamy. The service was extremely courteous and quick. All in all, an absolutely pleasant stay and we would recommend the restaurant...
